Celery Stuffers - Mix whipped cream cheese with chopped olives (black or green) to fill centers of fresh celery. A bit of sun-dried tomatoes chopped up in the cream cheese instead of the olives also tastes divine.

Decorate your halls 'n walls with holiday items that can be purchased drastically cheaper than before the holidays - some items at 90% off. As I was shopping for a necessity two days after Christmas, I saw a young couple who had a beautiful red bowl and platter in their basket - one of the drastically reduced items from the store's holiday stock. The beautiful bowl set would work wonderfully well for a New Year's party. Which goes to show that cheap doesn't always mean cheap.
