Diet Bites 30 Pounds or Less Diet Plan

Our Lose 30 Pounds or Less Diet is for those dieters seeking less aggressive methods for dropping those extra pounds.

A good way to gain weight is to go on a diet. It's so easy to lose weight, and so easy to quickly regain the lost weight. This makes good grounds for the argument that 'dieting equals weight gain'.

If you have experienced weight gain after dieting, our 30 Pounds or Less Diet may be the perfect formula for permanent weight loss WITHOUT dieting because it focuses on making small changes to the daily diet, as well as lifestyle changes. These little changes can add up to healthy benefits over time without an individual ever going on a diet per say.

There are two phases to the diet plan which require nothing more than common sense. No measuring, weighing of foods, severe exercise, counting calories, counting carbs or even fat grams. Here is how our free diet plan works to target weight loss:

The Diet Bites Lose 30 Pounds or Less Diet Plan - Phase 1

Weigh first thing in the morning on the day that you start the 30 Pounds or Less Diet Plan. At the end of one week, weigh in the same manner. See if you've lost weight, and if so, how much. If you're not seeing results, then continue with Phase 1 and add Phase 2.

At snack time grab one of the following fresh fruits: plum, apricot, a handful of strawberries OR any other berries you like OR grapes, 1/2 grapefruit, small orange, small banana, small apple, small nectarine, or a wedge of your favorite melon (honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon, casaba, etc.)

Enjoying fruit during snack time will help satisfy blood sugar needs while satisfying a sweet tooth.

Trade in your sugary sodas for water. If you can't give up your sodas, then enjoy one per day OR switch to diet soda OR a weight friendly drink. We highly recommend drinking 3 servings of skim milk daily (which equals 3 cups - so be careful not to overload your glass because your weight scales tell the truth).

Trade in juice for an orange or grapefruit. Why? You'll save big-time on calories while getting a fiber boost. Another option for Juice Lovers is to opt for reduced calorie juices - such as Welch's Cranberry Cocktails which contain a scant 40 calories per serving. The grape-cranberry version of most reduced calorie juices - simply delicious.

At mealtime, enjoy 1 serving of the foods at the table. And don't use that extra large spoon to grab a wad of mac-n-cheese and then call it a serving. In order for ANY diet to produce effective weight loss, one must eat sensibly.

Example: These are the foods spread about Meg's  dining table:

- mashed potatoes
- pork chops
- green beans
- corn
- bread
- butter or margarine

Meg will enjoy:

One serving spoon of mashed potatoes.
One pork chop.
One serving spoon of green beans.
One serving spoon of corn.
One slice of bread with a pat of butter or margarine.

The last item to address is activity. Walk every day for a minimum of 10 minutes - even if you have to walk inside your house or backyard. Pairing activity with a sensible diet equals weight loss, as well as weight maintenance PLUS a healthier body.

Weigh at the end of one week. Did you lose weight? If so, great! This weight loss strategy is working for you. If not, try adding Phase 2. Phase 2 of the Lose 30 Pounds or Less Diet Plan
