Do you like loud clothing? Loud perfume? What about loud music? That is exactly what happened to our model to the right, Ms. Bertha Icanthearyou. Sad story. So, how do you know if your music is too loud? - If your car shakes when the music is playing and it's not a low-rider with bouncing struts, then your music is too loud. - If you can see your parent's tonsils when they ask you to turn down the volume, then your music is too loud. - If your dog is howling or is often seen wearing ear plugs, then your music is too loud. - If your 110-year old neighbor can hear your music, then your music is too loud. - If the world is ringing after your music is turned off, then your music is too loud and you may have sustained hearing damage. Unfortunately, permanent hearing damage. What can you do? Turn down the volume. Your hearing is a precious gift that usually isn't appreciated until it's gone. If you enjoy loud music, your future hearing abilities are at risk. If you continue to listen to loud music, you may not even be able to hear well when you get older.
