Fiber to Combat Constipation

Diet Article: Weight Gain Due to Constipation - Natural Constipation Remedies

Constipation hurts.  It hurts physically, mentally and emotionally. Constipation effects how a person feels, and it may even impact the decisions that are made.

However, the next time that you make a huge mistake at work, try telling that to the boss:  "Yeah, boss.  I am having a major constipation issue and well, that's the reason that I goofed everything up."  Sure, the boss will understand.....

But if you want some real 'action' invest in foods with fiber. Oatmeal, beans, nuts, whole grains, raw fruits and vegetables.

How will you know if you are getting enough fiber?  Well, one way is to count the fiber grams in everything that you eat - but the easiest way is the old float or sink method.

Floating equals ample fiber while sinking signals a need for more fiber in the diet.
