Diet Dreams - Fat Nightmares & What They Mean

Keep going until you find at least 10 things that you like about YOUR BODY.  You'll soon discover that being overweight is just one dislike that you may have about your body.  We all tend to over-react when it comes to weight; it's a normal human emotion.  The shape of your body is something that you can definitely change.  So work towards that and when you reach your weight loss goal, then add that to the things that you like about you!  Remember:  It's just ONE thing; ONE dislike.  It's not the end of the world.

If you have lost weight and you are disturbed by Fat Nightmares, think of it as a GOOD THING!  It may be your body's way of reminding you to stay on track with your new diet plan and to never regain the weight.  Those Fat Nightmares just might be a good safety net.

If you experience Fat Nightmares that deal with people from your past seeing you (that haven't seen you in a long while) and you've gained a considerable amount of weight - it may your body's way of encouraging you to get on a diet plan to lose the unwanted weight.

In Summary

Although our weight effects us intensely, we should never allow it to control our lives - whether we continually fret about losing weight, or whether we surrender to food continually throughout the day until it rules our thought process.  We must strike a happy medium.

Try planning your meals for the day in advance.  And when meal-time approaches, allow yourself to be excited about eating.  There is absolutely nothing wrong in being excited about meal-time, no matter if you are a 'perfect weight' or if you're severely overweight.  Like it or not, eating is a part of our normal daily routine and if we didn't eat, well...we wouldn't survive.

As for those Fat Nightmares, allow yourself a bit of time at night to wind down before going to bed. Read a bit, or watch some TV; enjoy a cup of tea or warm skimmed milk (about an hour before bedtime or you'll have to get up again!).  Or, take a bubble bath.

Avoid exercising too close to bedtime, as it will be difficult to wind down for sleepy time.  It wouldn't do for the Sandman to catch you wide-awake, now would it?  And just to be on the safe side, you may want to avoid clowns.  Sweet dreams.
