Fad Diets

Are fad diets safe? Are they effective? And are they for me?

Every time you turn around, someone is inventing a new diet. We have the Popcorn Diet, the Cabbage Soup Diet and the Bean Diet. If someone were to try all of these fad diets all at once, you could point their butt toward space and take out a moon or two.

Fad Diets. Safe?

Not hardly. In simple terms, your body is a food processing machine. It's sort of like making bread. If you don't have yeast, the bread won't rise; no salt and it won't taste very good; no flour and you'll have nothing more than a wad of air. In other words, without all of the proper ingredients, you can't make bread. And without all of the proper nutrients, your body won't work. People can die from fad dieting.

Fad Diets. Effective?

Think about this. Have you ever known anyone who went on a fad diet and succeeded? Personally, I haven't. And by the way, the people in those infomercials don't count. If their miracle product was really a miracle, then all of the world would be thin, right?

Fad Diets. Are they for me?

No. Fad diets aren't for anyone smart. And you're smart or your wouldn't be reading this article or visiting this wonderful site.
