TRANS FATS IN THE DIET

Taking a tiny bit of time to read labels might add years to your life. Such is the case in Trans Fats.  Trans Fats aren't friends of the heart, rather enemies - those that attack (i.e. heart attack).

A key word to look for on the label of the food you are considering making a part of your body is 'partially hydrogenated'.  Should you find that, RUN, don't walk away from that product.

Your Trans Fat intake should be kept at the lowest - the very lowest level possible.

Diet Tip:  Try asking yourself the following with faced with health-wise decisions: 'Do I want this goody OR do I want to live longer?'  It makes walking away from a tasty item a lot easier and you'll certainly feel better mentally and physically for making a wise diet decision.
