What is a Calorie? | How Many Calories Makes One Pound? | Burning Calories | Walking 1 Mile Burns How Many Calories? DIETING - HELP! I HAVE A BIG BOTTOM & A SMALL TOP!Do you have a big bottom and a small top? Don't be self-conscious - wear it proud!
No matter how much weight you lose, your bottom seems to stay about the same while your top shrinks - and it's already too small as it is! What could you be doing wrong? You aren't doing anything wrong. Unfortunately, genes shape and mold our bodies and sometimes, there's little we can do to change things. No matter how many hills you climb, or how many sit-ups you do, that 'hourglass shape' or that 'abdominal six-pack' just isn't going to materialize. However, that doesn't mean that exercise should cease. It simply means that there comes a time in our lives when we must accept ourselves for what we are. Some people are born with a nose that is too big for their face, or a head that is too small for their body. From chests to hidden objects, very few people in life have a perfect body - or as close to perfect as one can get. Because we are all different, we are all unique. Therefore, like yourself and be proud of not only who you are, but also of what you look like. Being healthy is far more important than having perfect measurements and a crumbling foundation. Both the bust area and the buttocks area of the body are very tough to tone; they consist of soft muscle mass. In women, losing pounds will decrease the busts while weight gain will increase the appearance of the size of the bust area. Try upper body exercises to increase the size of the bust area and thigh and buttocks exercises to decrease the lower body. Walking also will increase and strengthen the lower body. These areas aside, with all the wrinkle and weight loss cures these days most people expect way too much from their bodies. All the chemicals being used to remove wrinkles as well as to remove fat from the body are in the experimental stage with the general public acting as guinea pigs. While the impact of these procedures may not have immediate consequences, what about the long term effect? For example, if Betty is thirty years old and starts treatment for wrinkles and requires several trips to her dermatologist each year, what will the results of all those creams and needles do over time? What will Betty look like at age 80? A plastic bag or a million bucks - the amount of money that it took over the years for her to retain her youthful image? I think that Mr. Rogers had 'people' down pretty well when he used to say, "I like you just the way you are." If only we could all like our own selves in this likewise manner the world would be a much happier place!
