Diet Non-Alcoholic Drink Recipes

The Diet Plus? Lower, MUCH lower in calories!

Mixed drinks reward the 'consumer' with a buzz that is very costly to the hips. Alcohol is extremely high in calories.

It's also easy to drink much more than you anticipate when you're out partying in the New Year. It's very hard to keep track with so much excitement around.

And those salty appetizers only serve to make you thirstier than normal.

Here are a few tasty drinks (including mulled cider) that will fit nicely into your diet and body!

Jack Frost Punch:
2 diet limon sodas - the 2 liter bottles
1 large container of Cranberry Juice made with Splenda (contains 30 - 40 calories per cup)
1 bottle of club soda - the 2 liter size
Crushed Ice

Mix all of the above in a large punch bowl.  Garnish glasses with orange slices if desired or float a bit of mint.

Frost on the Mountain Cooler:
1/2 gallon of pineapple sherbet
1 bottle of limon soda - the 2 liter size
1 can of unsweetened crushed pineapple

Pour soda into a large punch bowl; stir in the pineapple; carefully scoop ice cream out of container and add to the punch.

Warm Mulled Cider
1/2 gallon of unsweetened apple juice
2 oranges studded with cloves
1/4 cup of ground cinnamon
Splenda OR Equal

Mix all ingredients in a large pot or kettle.  Simmer for 1 hour. Remove the oranges.  Add several packets of Splenda or Equal to create desired sweetness.  Splenda holds up to heat whereas Equal struggles.

Serve while warm; add a cinnamon stick to the mug or cup for added beauty. Or, float a few orange slices on top of the punch.
