Diet Enemies That Sabatoge Diets - Diet and Body

The following are a few cute, but naughty Diet Enemies that you will meet as you journey along The Old Diet Trail.  For most of us, when we aren't in Diet Mode, these little buggers might be our best friends!

Meet Nod - Diet Enemy #4

It would take hours, perhaps days to count all the diets out on the street today!  So much advice, so little time.  With most weight loss programs there are promises of massive weight loss and trim body measurements.  Generally, there are expensive exercise apparatuses to purchase that will take you to the Land of Slimdom.  Then there are the special meals to buy and the magic pills to pop.  It’s maddening, isn’t it?  There IS a better way…

If you have tried dieting and failed, don’t despair.  

Cutting calories is only one way that an individual can lose weight.  That alone will create PERMANENT weight loss for as long as you stick with your diet plan AND your weight loss maintenance plan once you lose to your goal weight.  Another way to lose weight is to get moving!  As long as you retain your current calorie intake, exercise alone will create PERMANENT weight loss - as long as you stick with your plan.

Your best diet defense for Diet Enemy #4: Shift your focus to a healthy level – your fitness level!  By making a few modifications in your normal routine you can be on your way to a healthier and fitter you. In fact, with some of the changes that you incorporate you may discover that you’re actually trimming down while getting fit without cutting back on calorie-intake.

As you travel along the dusty Diet Trail, try skipping every now and then.  You may also want to jump some rope, run some trails and swim in some fun swimming holes.  Make a bona fide effort to move about more.  Not only will you drop a few pounds, your body will begin to develop a stronger heart, stronger lungs and so forth!  The health rewards are immense.
