Diet Balls The Way Nature Intended Balls To Be

Sometimes the magic can be found right under your nose or in your own backyard...

- Blueberries: One cup of Vitamin C packed blueberries contains a mere 81 calories.  Consider purchasing frozen blueberries as they take much longer to eat and are refreshingly good during the warmer months.

- Bell Peppers: So many colors to pick from!  1 cup contains about 30 calories.  Try 'frying' off some chopped bell pepper and onions in a bit of no calorie refrigerated butter spray.  Next, add 1 cup of Minute Rice, 1 teaspoon of Cumin, 1 Tablespoon of chili powder, 1/2 cup of salsa and 1 can of whole Mexican Style Hunt's tomatoes.  It's a Spanish Rice recipe to live for!

- Cantaloupes: If you are facing a bout with the hungries, ward them off by eating 1/2 of a small cantaloupe.  It's a lot of fruit, but don't fret for that large portion contains a scant 50 calories.

- Honeydew Melons:  Eat 1/2 a small melon for about 50 calories.

- Cranberries: Cranberries make a powerful diuretic and are packed with Vitamin C.  You can had 1 cup of unsweetened cranberries for about 50 calories.  Splenda does a fine job if you need a little sweetening powder.
