BRANDING YOUR DIETThe Diet Guru's Dose of FrightEvery dieter must make the diet they are embarking upon, their own. Brand it! This is MY diet! Most Diet Gurus are old so they've had time to hone their dieting skills. They may seem to know it all and know just how hard to crack the Diet Whip to make you just as high as they want you to. Some even scare the unsuspecting dieter out of hard-earned cash, convincing them that they cannot live without their product, program or book. Most will convince you that if you don't go on their diet, then you're going to die from obesity and go straight to Diet Hell.
They'll try to convince you that there's NO diet like THEIR diet plan. 'The other diets just don't work!" They'll go on to list all of the frightening statistics surrounding obesity. And so we've got all these statistics of people who die from disease and it's all pointing back to obesity. What about air pollution? What about food contamination such as mercury in our fish, pesticides on our vegetables and fruits, and our meat sources that are pumped full of antibiotics? They are many, many things to consider in the scope of medical science that often gets lost in the money pool of scare tactics that sell programs, books and subscriptions. So again, make the diet you choose YOUR DIET by branding it with YOUR necessary intake of daily calories and nutrients. Stay true to the course, never give up and you will succeed! |
