THE SOUP, SALAD &
WEIGHT LOSS CONNECTION
A few extra seconds of your time could
be all that you need to lose weight. How so? How could
losing weight be 'THIS' easy?
For ONE WEEK, try the following Diet
Experiment. Be sure and weigh the morning you begin your Diet Experiment
and again on the first morning after your experiment has ended.
For one week, try eating either a small
salad or a bowl of soup at lunch AND dinner WITH your meal.
For salads: choose light dressing, including
light Mayo, light honey mustard - anything light! Your salad mix
may contain any of the following: mushrooms, peppers, lettuce, squash,
onions, tomatoes, capers, olives, pickles, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers,
celery, broccoli, cauliflower, sprouts, a boiled egg, a few croutons,
a Tablespoon of bacon bits, a few slices of lean meat, 1 ounce of
REAL cheese and even a few crackers.
For soups: - Limit yourself to
the recommended one-serving. Enjoy any soup that you wish - cream
soups included. A couple of crackers on the side or on the
inside are totally okay.
The Diet Reasoning behind the soup and
salad before mealtime, is that you will eat less foods that contain
higher calories. In other words, salads and soups tend to contain
fairly healthy ingredients that are low in calories, especially
when enjoyed with light dressings.
Even the cream soups come with benefits.
A bit of fat certainly isn't going to hurt your diet, and in fact,
it's necessary for optimum health. A bit of fat also helps
keep you satisfied for longer periods of time, specifically, that
long span from dinnertime to bedtime.
