How Does Your Food Measure Up?

A few extra seconds of your time could be all that you need to lose weight.  How so?  How could losing weight be 'THIS' easy?

For ONE WEEK, try the following Diet Experiment. Be sure and weigh the morning you begin your Diet Experiment and again on the first morning after your experiment has ended.

For one week, prepare your plate as you normally would at mealtimes. Next, grab your measuring cups and measuring spoons.

If you've used foods that have the calories listed on the box, this will be an easy Diet Experiment.  If not, simply try to measure the entree.

Generally, a casserole serving size is about 1 cup.  Same for vegetables, including mashed potatoes, rice, and pasta.  Generally, you can calculate about 200 calories for these foods unless there is an abundance of butter and cream laced within.

How well did you do?  Are you consuming the recommended portion sizes? If you find that you are putting a bit too much on your plate, simply use your measuring tools until you get a good idea of just how much a serving size is of a particular food.

Diet Recap:

Check the packaging labels which clearly outline the recommended serving size.  Next, if you find that your potions are too much, then reduce them to the recommended serving size.

And finally, this Diet Experiment is great for helping you establish a healthy eating pattern.  This may be all that you need to do to ensure Weight Loss Success!

At the end of the week, see how well you did at your weigh in.
