Serves 2 for about 110 calories

1 ½ cup of ice cold skim milk
1-3 ice cubes plus 1-3 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired

2 fresh apricots, peeled and pitted
Dash of ground nutmeg

Blend until frothy and enjoy cold.

There isn't much to the drumsticks and wings of a bird in way of edible meat. One roasted drumstick contains a skinny 114 calories and only 6.35 total dietary grams of fat - even when consumed with the skin. Minus the skin and we can minus a few calories; the total calories decrease to 93 and the total dietary fat grams decrease to 3.61. That's quite impressive - just by simply removing the skin.

If we compare these calories to that of the roasted chicken breast we will see a vast difference. One breast contains 631 calories and over 28 total dietary fat grams when the skin is left on. Without the skin, calories in the roasted chicken breast decrease to 508 calories and about 12 total dietary fat grams.

While caloric values did not decrease significantly - just look at the reduction in fat gram content. By removing the skin we've slashed total dietary fat content by more than one-half.
