Non-Alcoholic Diet Drinks - Banana Foster

1 Ripe Banana

1 cup of banana nut ice milk OR ice cream equaling 130 calories per ½ cup or less

1 Tablespoon of Smucker’s Caramel fat free topping

2-4 ice cubes

1-4 packets of Splenda or Equal if extra sweetness is desired

Blend all ingredients and serve in chilled glasses.

Low Calorie Submarine Sandwich

Ahoy little dieter! Yes you with the sunscreen. Are you ready to prepare this low calorie submarine sandwich? Don't get too excited as it won't take much energy to make.

But there will be plenty of time to run on the beach later - after we've allowed our sandwich and skinny shake time to settle in.

Recipe Ingredients:

1 Submarine Roll, whole grain is best for healthy benefits
Assortment of lean meats & low fat cheese
Lettuce, sliced tomatoes
Light low fat Salad Dressing or Mustard

You can save a lot of calories by opting for the mustard. Make it 'spicy' mustard and your sub will have plenty of zippy flavor.

When shopping for your sub rolls, look for the smaller ones. Try to keep the calories to 150 or under. As to the added lean meats and cheeses, keep those to about 250 total calories. You don't want to sink your weight loss plan with one sub sandwich.

Enjoy with the skinny shake recipe above and you should feel full for quite some time to come.
