Dieting Remote - Who's in Control of Your Diet Plan?

While most of us seek to be powerful, the things in which we have absolute power are those things in which we seldom take control. ~ Sky

For most people, weight is something that they can control.  However, due to genes, heredity, illness and other factors, there are many people who do not have that option.  Destiny has taken control and it's an uphill battle where weight is concerned.

For those individuals who do have control over what they weigh, many choose not to take control.

This is generally because of stress, diet timing, willpower, the holidays and so forth - all of which affect our diets and what we weigh.

However, it's important to keep in mind that for most of us, we do hold the remote control where that 'magic number on our weight scalesr' is concerned.

We may have to make some food sacrifices and we may have to put in some activity when we don't want to and we may have to pass up some party tables, but it can be achieved. And it's certainly not easy.

My parents always called the television device, "The clicker."  Every time I'd visit, I'd hear at least one of them say, "Where's the clicker?"

My brother's family calls the device, "The control."  My brother enjoys feeling powerful, even if he isn't - just like most of us, I suppose.

Tom and I call the device, "The remote."

No matter what you call the remote, always know that YOU are in control of the Diet Clicker. Keep your batteries strong and don't ever let go.
