Dieting - Color Coding Your Diet

Written by Diet Bites

Color Coding Your Diet -  Perk up on those Diet Senses to see big results on your weight loss scales by color coding your diet plan.  We'll show you how!

Green is one of the best colors to lean on while dieting. If green happens to be in a dessert, just make certain that it's sugar free.  Also, dance to the dip AWAY from the guacamole bowl.

Lettuce, cucumbers, sugar free lime gelatin, okra, squash, bell peppers, green onions, melon, broccoli  (which Diet Bites has identified as the broom of the gut), peas, spinach, green beans, collard greens, pistachio nuts - and the list goes on.

Take care however, to avoid those fried green tomatoes if you are a Southerner.

'Yellow is stellar' in the diet.  Eggs (limit to 1 per day due to high cholesterol content in that pretty yellow yolk), yellow bell peppers, yellow pear tomatoes, yellow squash, melons and dandelions all go perfectly with a healthy diet plan.

Red - choose lean cuts of red meat to pump protein into your diet.  Also good reds include: beets, radishes, watermelon, tomatoes and blood oranges.

Black - eggplant, black beans, black plums, and black olives to fuel your diet plan.

And what's your favorite Diet Color?

Diet's in the Doghouse

A little freedom never hurt anyone.

On a special diet or weight loss plan? Are the foods that you love in the Diet Doghouse - banished from your mortal life until the end of Diet Time?

Do you hunger for a more free, uninhibited diet plan - one that will unleash those fond, favorite foods from the Diet Doghouse so life will be fun and once more, full of Diet Folly?

Yes, I know exactly how you feel. When the foods that you love are in the Diet Doghouse, you don't think about anything else except how to get those foods back inside your Inner Diet Circle and 'wolf' them down.

But whether you're a chocolate chip cookie monster, or a fan of flan, leaving those unhealthy goodies under lock and key until you're in a Diet Mindset to control and limit intake is a very good and savvy dieting technique.

For one, it takes effort to unlock the Diet Doghouse in order to get to the goodies. Time gives a person a chance to think about what they are doing before they walk over the edge.

In addition, keeping goodies under lock and key will also allow your body's taste buds to adjust to new, healthy additions to your daily diet.

You may discover that your Sweet Tooth is no longer as sweet as it used to be, or that the fat in meats, butter and oils are no longer as appealing as they were in your predieting days.

You'll love the weight loss - and weight loss is something that you can really howl about.
