Dieting and tired of eating like a pauper? Does your weight loss menu look something like this? A bit bare and Diet Painful?
Pauper Diet Plan
Breakfast Menu: 1 piece dry toast, 1/2 grapefruit, 1 boiled egg, spring water
Mid Morning Snack: not allowed
Lunch Menu: 1 slice of dry white bread, 1/2 can tuna (dry), 2 lettuce leaves, 2 slices of tomato, 1/2 grapefruit, unsweetened tea
Dinner Menu: 1/2 cup of skim cottage cheese, 1 slice of turkey deli meat, 1 slice of dry white bread, 1 piece of fresh fruit, unsweetened tea
Bedtime Snack: Not allowed on diet plan.
Oh my.... The Pauper Diet is very painful to look at, isn't it? It's similar to the Deserted Island Diet minus the coconuts, lei and roasted pig. How could anyone seriously stay on a Pauper-Type diet plan? There's nothing good about it, nor healthy because the dangerously low amount of calories contained in the diet wipe out any health benefits of the foods listed in the diet. It's boring, it's too low in calories, and it's a diet plan that will possibly last one, maybe two days.

The Kingly Diet Plan
The following is a sample from Vinny's Kingly Diet Plan. Vinny is on a 1,500 calorie diet and has lost 45 pounds in three short months. The following menu plan is pretty carb-friendly, too:
Breakfast Menu:The Handsome Omelet, 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries topped with Splenda and 2 Tablespoons of fat free thawed whipped topping, 4 ounces of freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 cup of coffee prepared with Nestle's Coffee-Mate, Carb Select Vanilla creamer and 2 packets of Splenda.
Recipe for The Handsome Omelet: 2 egg whites plus 1 egg yolk plus dash of milk, dash of salt, dash of pepper. Beat until frothy then pour into a heated non-stick skillet. Allow to cook on one side, then carefully flip. On ONE SIDE of the omelet, add 1/4 cup of skim grated cheese, 1/4 cup of sauteed sliced mushrooms (Vinny cooks the mushrooms before he puts the omelet into the pan and this also gives the omelet a unique mushroomy taste) and 1 slice of crumbled microwaved bacon. Carefully fold over omelet. Top with additional mushrooms and a sprinkle of skim cheese if desired. Chives may also be used as a garnish, and inside the omelet.
Mid Morning Snack: 1 black plum
Lunch Menu: Chick in the Woods Salad, 1 piece of fruit, 1 glass of mango tea sweetened with Splenda and garnished with lemon.
Recipe for Chick in the Woods Salad: 1/2 cup of grilled or roasted lemon pepper chicken breast (or your favorite lean chicken cut preferably cut into cubes), 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms, mixed greens (lettuce, dandelion leaves, etc.) (or simply lettuce if you prefer), diced tomato, 2 walnuts OR pecans crumbled into salad, 1/2 chopped apple with the skin left on, dash of pepper, dash of salt (or sea salt), 1/4 cup of skim grated cheese. To this, add 2 Tablespoons of Paul "Newman's Own" Light Raspberry & Walnut totally natural salad dressing (only 70 calories for the richest, tastiest salad dressing that Tom and I have ever had).
The Kingly Diet Plan
Dinner Menu: 1/2 cup of skim cottage cheese, 1 whole wheat pita pocket bread stuffed with lettuce, tomato, 1 ounce of lean, sliced roast beef, grated skim cheese mixed with a Tablespoon of light honey mustard salad dressing.
Vinny also enjoys 1 cup of skim milk, 1 serving of orange sherbet, 1 cup of frozen grapes which he likes to dip in Splenda while eating.
Dinner Snack: Vinny needs to get in one more cup of skim milk and he likes to flavor it with extracts. Tonight, he chooses to splash a dash of rum extract into his cold cup of milk. He also enjoys three small gingersnap cookies with the cold milk.
Vinny never feels deprives and his tummy is content and full. He also incorporates a 15 minute walk into his daily routine as part of his weight loss plan.
Once a week, he makes it a point to shoot hoops with his son. He also keeps a flask of water at hand throughout his day which helps purify his system, helps in keeping him hydrated, and helps him to feel fuller so he's less apt to eat in between meals. He also keeps his mind busy doing things that he enjoys while relaxing, such as repairing old watches and then there's Vinny's Pez collection.
And now we know the difference why Vinny's diet is King!
