Dieter Fred had been on his healthy diet plan for almost two months now. My, how time flies when you're having fun. But Fred's Dieting Adventure hadn't been all queens and roses.... At the beginning of Fred's diet, he sat down and made a list of all of his favorite foods. The list was very long. These are just a few foods that Fred had on his list: coconut shrimp, cherry pie, chocolate chip cookies, lasagna, and strawberry milkshakes. Fred begin to think of ways that he could make his favorite foods diet friendly. Fred knew that if he wasn't able to enjoy all of his favorite foods while dieting that his diet might fizzle out fast. Fred created cherry pie using Splenda; he decided that he could be just as happy with ginger snap cookies as with chocolate chip cookies and he could enjoy 6 ginger snaps to one chocolate chip cookie for the same amount of calories. He also created lush strawberry shakes from skim milk, tasty zero calorie extracts and frozen strawberries. There were some favorite foods that Fred wasn't able to trim down, but his list was so long that he remained content in his weight loss program. At one point, Fred discovered that he liked fresh cherries as much as he did cherry pie. Fred shocked his own self, as well as his weight loss scale - for he went on to meet all his weight loss goals.
