It's time to go on a diet and lose weight, but which diet plan do you need?  

Which diet plan will suit your weight loss needs best?  A simple, easy weight loss plan OR a big fat diet plan?

Keep in mind that the bigger and more complicated the diet plan, the harder it's going to be to remain focused to lose weight.

Although many fad diet plans will do a lot in getting you motivated to lose weight - and some may even be fun when you're on the Diet Starting Line, when hunger and sore muscles set in, the individual generally sets off of their diet plan.

On the other hand, a diet that is built around healthy foods and contains very simple 'to-do's' is generally a diet that most people can stick with.  Let's take a peek at a simple diet plan and a big fat diet plan to get a better ideal of the difference between the two.

Big Fat Diet Plan

Generally, the dieter will purchase a big fat diet plan that will put a good dent in their pocketbook.

 Next, the dieter will spend the next week calculating their body frame size, the type of dieter that they are, why they overeat, and how their astrological sign fits into their diet plan.

The meals will generally be spun off of several pages of foods that not only sound exotic, but that are also created using exotic foods.

And when they are done, they'll most probably taste like cardboard sprinkled with herbs.

By the time the dieter has ripped out two tendons and three fingernails from exercising, they suddenly realize that they have spent the past week playing with a big fat diet plan - and that all those menus and worthless calculations have kept them too busy to realize that they have been on a diet!  Bingeing settles in and the post dieter is once again content with their body size.

Simple Diet Plan

The dieter determines the very basics such as goal weight, activity goals and the method for weight loss - such as counting calories.

The dieter then purchases the tools necessary for dieting such as a calorie book, a set of free weights and healthy goodies.

The simple diet plan also comes with a back up plan just in case the dieter has second thoughts of quitting their diet. With hard work and dedication, an average of two pounds is shed each week.  

So what will it be?  Simple diet plan?  Or big fat diet plan?  It's totally the dieter's choice!
