Sex – Is the thrill gone just because you need to lose a few?

It's lunchtime. Enter a table surrounded by three guys. Let's get a little bit closer and listen in as they discuss three women – two bombshells and one feisty 'plump' diamond in the rough…

Ye Old Luncheon

Tom, Dick and Harry are having lunch at the unfancy Italian place on Main Street. It's filled with fellow construction workers, ready for a night on the town after the long toiling week. These guys are the cream of the crew – handsome, smart, and very hard workers. Let's listen in as the guys discuss a few of the single women they know as they attempt to decide who would make the most interesting 'playmate'.

TOM: "So guys, of the women we know, who do you think would make the most interesting um…playmate?"

EVERYONE: "Hee hee, hee hee."

The guys clear their throats. (hack.....hack)

DICK: "Bambi – slim, sexy and a redhead. It just doesn't get any better."

HARRY: "I disagree, Dick. Barbie, hands down. A curvy blond with brains – not to mention those passionate blue eyes."

It's suddenly quiet as the men are locked in thought. Harry breaks the moment by asking Tom, who seems suddenly interested in his rosemary bread, a question.

HARRY: "Since you started this idiocy, who's your pic, bud?"

Tom's lips twitch to one side, then he nonchalantly places a piece of the bread into his mouth before he answers, both Harry and Dick growing overly impatient.

TOM: "Karen."

DICK: "Karen at the office?"

TOM: "That's the one. When she smiles, it touches her beautiful green eyes. She's always friendly. She's also sexy and full of wit. I don't think anyone has ever made me laugh so hard before." He pauses to take another bite of the bread then after a moment continues, "Barbie and Bambi – there's not much to them once you get past the glitz."

DICK: "Tom's right, Harry. Might be worth quitting, just so I can ask her out."

Tom acts like he's going to toss a wad of bread at Dick, and Harry delivers a tight scowl.

HARRY: "Not if I quit first."

EVERYONE: "Hee hee, hee hee."

Now, let's drift away from the boy's conversation and make a quick analysis. Barbie is a size 4; Bambi is a size 8; Karen is a size 16. Barbie and Bambi are full of glitz. Karen is beautiful, witty, has a sense of humor, and is sexy. Yes, sexy according to not one – but three 'with it' construction workers.

Epilogue

Harry ordered lasagna and suffered a mild heartburn that lasted through Saturday afternoon. Dick got a massive case of halitosis after ordering the double garlic supreme pizza that lasted until late Sunday evening. Tom ate one more slice of the rosemary bread, returned to work and submitted his resignation. Later that evening, he and Karen became engaged. Barbie and Bambi spent the weekend plucking chin hairs and visiting tanning booths and were unavailable for a more detailed update.
