Zelda's Weight Loss Success Story

I was the lowest that I had ever been in life, totally depressed with myself for allowing my weight to climb to such heights. I was now 50 pounds overweight and climbing up the scale with each passing day. No matter how hard I tried, I just didn't know how to stop the madness.
At age 35, it seemed much more difficult to shed the unwanted weight than it had been during my 20's. I wasn't quite as active now, as I had been then, either. And my cooking skills had excelled with time. My three layer fudge cake would put the corner deli to shame.
One day as I sat thinking, I pondered a lot about my younger days when I'd been thin. I remembered looking into a mirror whenever I got a chance to admire my sleek shape.
These days, I avoided mirrors at all cost. I used to wear bright colors and highly favored white. These days, I donned black. I use to wear tight fitting jeans and fancy skirts. These days, I wore vests and cloaks to hide my girth. It was at this point that I realized I had turned into a pudgy person who was beginning to sound a lot like Dracula. That thought was very scary.
I realized I had a problem. I was 50 pounds overweight. How could I lose the weight and keep it off? How could I stay on a diet and see it through?
