Three Day Diet Fad Diet Plan Review

The 3 Day Diet has been circling the Diet Village for a long while now. Can an individual really drop significant pounds in just three days? Safely? And will those pounds stay away? For good? While the verdict is out, the 3 Day Diet focuses on quick weight loss rather than safe weight loss. After viewing this diet, might we ask, "Who the heck sits around thinking up these crazy fad diets?" With that said, here is the 3 Day Diet Menu, along with Diet Bite's review:
The rules of the 3 Day Diet: (yes, there are always rules when dieting - particularly when fad dieting)
- Drink a minimum of 4 glasses of water or diet beverages per day.
- Any of the following may be used to your heart's content: salt, pepper, vinegar, lemon, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, mustard and catsup.
Breakfast: Coffee/Tea with sugar substitute + 1/3 grapefruit + 1 piece of dry toast topped with 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter
Lunch: 1/2 cup of tuna in spring water + 1 piece of dry toast + coffee/tea with sugar substitute
Dinner: 3 ounces of lean meat + 1 cup of green beans + 1 cup of carrots + 1 apple + 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
Breakfast: Coffee/Tea with sugar substitute + 1 egg + 1 slice of dry toast + 1/2 banana
Lunch: 1 cup of cottage cheese or tuna in spring water + 8 saltine crackers
Dinner: 2 franks + 1 cup of cabbage + 1/2 cup of carrots + 1/2 banana + 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream
Breakfast: Coffee/Tea with sugar substitute + 5 saltine crackers + 1 ounce of cheese + 1 apple
Lunch: 1 boiled egg + 1 slice of dry toast + coffee/tea with sugar substitute
Diet Dinner: 1 cup EACH of: tuna in spring water, carrots, cauliflower, melon + 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream
Diet Bites Analysis: Anyone capable of eating peanut butter first thing in the morning deserves a gold star and perhaps a glass slipper.
Day 1 of the 3 Day Diet provides less than 500 calories and puts the dieter into starvation mode. At this point, the metabolism slows down and begins a conservation process, saving precious energy because it detects a problem with food intake. There is little to process, and of that, minimal nutrients.
Day 2 of the 3 Day Diet contains egg and banana first thing in the morning. This sets the dieter up for a major gas leak as bananas and eggs are a volatile gas combination. Lucky thing that the peanut butter wasn't part of the breakfast Gas Feast.

Lunch combines tuna and cottage cheese. Just the thought is overpowering. Sorry, but fish and dairy products don't mix well. After the gassy breakfast, the dieter will be lucky if they don't blow out a small trout while visiting 'John'.
The smart dieter would add lettuce, sprouts, cherry tomatoes, salt, pepper, diced celery, diced pickle and some diced onion to the tuna and a spoon of light Mayo. Toss in a few corn chips and it reeks of Diet Satisfaction way into the late afternoon.
Day 2 Dinner is filled with franks, and frankly more gas. Lovely. It's at this point where the dieter will need a gas mask just to visit John or chance passing out.
Again, Day 2 of this fad diet verges on the 500 - 600 daily calorie intake. The tummy is lurching for need of food and the metabolism is still confused and at this point is stressing out, not to mention other parts of the body.
Let's see what Day 3 has in store, shall we? Cheese, saltines and apple. Well, if we have anything positive to say about the 3 Day Diet, these are the good points of the Day 3 Breakfast:
Apples are generally more effective in waking one up than caffeine.
It appears that the saltines are the pivotal Breakfast food as the dieter can either put the cheese on the crackers, or eat the cheese with the apple. Both are good combinations, whereas saltines and apples aren't. Bad thing is, one ounce of cheese is basically one thin slice of cheese. Good luck to the dieter trying to make a fair distribution!
Apples are gassy and we see that we have eggs in store for lunch. Wow - 1 whole boiled egg that will act like a bullet when combined with apple gas. Perhaps the cheese will help counteract the impending disaster. Oh, and I see that we also get to dine on more dry toast. Wonderful.
Again, Day 3 of this fad diet contains minimal calories. The dieter will be lucky if they get through the diet without eating the family cat.
The Three Day Diet has our total thumb's down. The person who developed this diet should be flogged with a wet feather. Given the low calories of the 3 Day Diet, we are inclined to conclude that the 3 Day Diet has contributed to many health problems for many dieters desperate to lose weight. The 3 Day Fad Diet Plan also offers false hope.
