Lose Belly Fat by Grilling

Written by Diet Bites

A heartwarming inspirational love story about - you guessed it -  a man & his grill.

Want to lose belly fat? One of the fastest methods for accomplishing such is using grilling methods. The fire in the grill wicks-away the fat contained in animal proteins - and it gives vegetables a unique flavor without added calories.

On that note, let's see how Dave met his grill and started on his journey to losing his excess belly fat....

Abandoned with a rusty pit, it seemed that Iwanna Grill would spend the rest of her life shedding tiny metal filings until her bleak demise amid the old rust heap at the city dump.

How she yearned for someone to light a fire back inside of her belly, to feed her roasty breath, to oil her wanton grates, and to toss a bounty of healthy goodies onto her hot little head. How she longed to lap dance her flames.  But it was not to be, she thought.  I'm nothing more than a rustpot.  But that was before Dave...

It was  hot summer day. Dave had been poking around in the scrap pile at the city dump for a long while now, hoping to find a treasure among the ruins.  Saturday mornings were the best time to harvest such wonderments, as the area was empty, save a few curious squirrels and mice scurrying busily about in search of food.

Thus far, Dave had uprooted one perfectly good axe, one solid silver serving spoon and a diamond ring - although bent and smashed up a bit.  However, it would bring some hot cash fast at his auction next week.

Probably the leftovers from a disgruntled wife, he thought.

Lucky she didn't bend up the guy's face, he chuckled, ready to call it a morning as it was getting a mite hot as the sun now lay zenith in the blue sky overhead.

As he gathered up his tools, something caught his eye.  Oh my, it was cool grill - coated with rust, but nonetheless, a nice old grill.  She must have been a masterpiece in her day.

Not too bad, he went on to consider, sanding a hand over his bearded chin. She'd do him well at his party tonight.  He'd planned a healthy shindig complete with lean roasted meats, roasted veggies, flatbread, and a gigantic fruit salad with a light cream garnish.

Iwana tried to bat her lid at Dave, but she was too rusty. At least he was looking her way.

Oh, if only he would rescue her from this hole of heavy metal.  It wasn't pleasant here at times.  Only yesterday, some coo coo woman appeared in a hot pink Geo and pitched her ring at Iwana.  If not for all the rust that was coated about her 'once-beautiful iron-clad body', that would have hurt.  Yes, it was such a hard life!

But Iwana's rusty jets stirred as Dave came gallivanting towards her.

Ten minutes later, she had been loaded into his ox-blood colored pickup and was on her way to where - well, she did not know, but she was so happy she could almost hiss.

Dave worked on Iwana most of the afternoon, polishing her, running his big strong hands over her and smoothing out her rusty old coat.  For Iwana, it had been love at first touch.

No one had ever been this caring, this tender with her - except for that roasted lamb that Mr. Haddock had tossed on her breast for his company party that hot June day.  Yes, she absolutely adored the ground that Dave walked on!

The day just got better and better!  That evening, Dave's close friends hovered around Iwana as she was heaving with a red-hot fire in her belly, her flames licking the flanks of beef and pork.

What a healthy little party it was!

Lean cuts of beef, pork, chicken - and Dave's wife was thoughtful enough to stick a foiled tin of salmon basted with rosemary and lemon onto Iwana's hot grates.

And what wonderful, healthy veggies that they tossed upon her!  She was adorned in kabobs of carrots/zucchini/cherry tomatoes as well as kabobs of eggplant/sweet onion/potato.  Oh happy day!

The next morning, Dave re-polished Iwana to a dull shine and placed her under the protected eve on the patio.

As for Iwana, she lived to a ripe old age, then lived 100 years more. And she loves Dave's great, great, great, great grandson just as much as she did him.

Today, Iwana has never been happier and - and - and well....just flat 'grate-full'.
