If you plan to have a picnic to celebrate the holiday, stay away from the picnic hams.  Instead, spend a bit more money and RUN to the lean ham at your market.  

Some other healthy, low calorie goodies that you may want to include in your pic-a-nic basket are:

- pickles, although watch out for the sodium content if you're watching the salt shaker
