Quick Roasted Chicken Recipe for Dieters

No need to fire-up that big-astronomical oven. You can prepare roasted chicken in a flash on the stove top. Take this tip from an old cook: Slow & steady wins the race. So keep the burner on low which will allow the chicken to form a caramelized glaze as it slowly roasts on the stove top.

Here is our ultra-simple recipe - so simple that Fido could almost prepare it:

Ingredients:

Chicken Breast - lean with all skin & fat removed.

Cooking Spray (we use butter-flavored)

Salt & Pepper (we use sea salt & cracked pepper)


Spray a non-stick pan with the butter spray and add the salt & peppered chicken carefully. Cook on low heat and turn when one side appears golden in color. When other side appears golden, turn again to ensure that chicken gets thoroughly cooked.
