Body Weight Challenge

Lodged within the foggy mist Halloween materializes...
Halloween tends to kick-off the holiday season.
However, this year I have been attune to some subtle changes. First, our temperatures appear to have been warmer than normal for October.
There were days when we hit the mid-90's when our region typically enjoys the mid-80's. That's summertime weather for many states in the USA.
Another thing that I've noticed is that the local stores aren't pushing the Christmas season down their shopper's throats - which is a really nice change.
Generally, it's not unusual to be shopping in August and hear Bing Crosby dolling out his delicious rendition of " I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas".
Unfortunately, it's a dream that will remain a dream in this part of Texas. We don't get enough snow each year to make a snowman the size of a gnat.
While I adore the holidays, when they start that early - lasting almost half a year, that's overboard. It makes one unappreciative of those special months of the year and it becomes too commercialized.
Diet Bites Body Weight Challenge
With the holiday season ringing in, I'd like to set forth a challenge to you. Please go hop on your weight scales then come right back!
Waiting....waiting....waiting - great! You're back.
Now jot that number down either on paper or in your memory because on January 2nd - I want you to hop back onto your weight scales again and compare the numbers.
This is Your Goal for Body Weight Over the Next Few Weeks
Your goal - NO MATTER WHAT YOU CURRENTLY WEIGH - is to either remain at that number OR weigh less.
Too often all the holiday goodies bring forth unwanted pounds that often remain adhered to the body for months, years, decades or a lifetime to come.
By refusing weight gain to stick around far after the holidays are all rung out - isn't easy but it's well worth your effort.
In the coming weeks, I'll provide dieting and weight management tips to help guide you safely through the season. I hope you'll stay tuned.
