In the event that you go a teensy bit overboard - doing such just might prove to be your safety net. Now for one of the tasty reduced calorie recipes that I mentioned above... Butterscotch De-Light Recipe Ingredients, Preparation NotesThis is a reduced calorie, reduced fat holiday recipe. The Recipe Ingredients & Cooking Instructions 1 cup of all purpose flour 1/2 cup of crushed pecans 1 stick of light or reduced calorie margarine Melt margarine and add to flour and pecans. Be sure that the margarine isn't hot, just warm. Bake in a 350° preheated oven for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until crust is golden. Next, blend the following ingredients and spoon onto the baked crust: 8 ounces of light/reduced fat cream cheese (not fat free) 1/2 of a large container of light/reduced fat whipped topping
Next, blend the following ingredients and spread onto the cream cheese mixture above. Top with remaining topping and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans. As a note, both pecans and walnuts work exceptionally well in this reduced calorie recipe. 3 cups of skim milk 2 small boxes of sugar free/fat free instant butterscotch pudding
