Diet Bites Journal - November 4 Weight Loss " Diet Wings of Fire....." Another warm day and I'm not really feeling like Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It's just TOO warm. When lunch rolled around, we popped some Wings of Fire into the oven - perhaps a bit of our brains suffering from the heat as we were actually adding more heat in our lives via the trusty oven. Nonetheless, the Wings of Fire turned out quite lovely and yes, very low calorie. So if you're dieting and if you enjoy hot wings - yes you can still invite them into your weight loss plan. Here's how... Ingredients for Diet Wings of Fire 6-8 chicken  wings 1 package of your favorite buffalo wing seasonings A bit of cooking spray and foil will go a long way in shortening clean-up time. Remove the wing tips and cut the drumette free of the upper wing portion. You should now have 12 - 16 pieces of chicken. Rinse thoroughly then CAREFULLY remove as much skin as possible. Removing the skin removes fat and calories but be forewarned that it's not an easy task but it sure is worth your efforts. 1 uncooked wing with skin contains about 109 calories and 7.83 fat grams. 1 uncooked wing with the skin removed contains about 37 calories and 1.03 fat grams! Back to the recipe... Place washed wing pieces into deep bowl and coat with the seasoning mix OR into a   plastic 1 gallon bag. Seal and shake. Bake according to directions on seasoning package and serve with light dressing.
