What Causes Weight Loss? The world is getting wackier by the day. Take our weather. A couple of days ago we experienced over nine inches of snow - extremely rare and unusual for this area which tends to be mild in the winter and tropical-like in the spring and fall. It's a triple-trillion-dollar business these days. And most of it is totally wacky. There is not a weight loss product or supplement on the market that can generate weight loss. Sure - the marketing gurus may trick a dieter into thinking that their weight loss product achieves just that - but it just ain't so. Unfortunately, only a few methods exist in triggering weight loss: 1. Reduction of calories in the daily diet results in weight loss - but only when the calories are reduced sufficiently below the body's required daily calories (energy). 2. Weight loss occurs through activity - but only after daily calories have been met by the body. After this point, excess calories have the potential to be expended via activity OR from the stored energy which is pulled from the fat cells - thus triggering weight loss. 3. Expended Water Retention - Have you ever hopped onto the scales a few days after you've enjoyed an extra salty meal to find that you actually weigh 3 pounds or more lighter?
