The February Dieter As we take a look into our near future, the month of February is filled with many obstacles that can trip-up the best of weight loss plans.
Perhaps the biggest obstacle is Cupid. Valentine's Day offers so many opportunities for temptation. Milk chocolate, white chocolate, dark chocolate, Swiss chocolate, chocolates with nuts and other frilly fillings - and so forth. And if the dieter isn't battling chocolate - then they are facing off with a ten-course Valentine's Day dinner. Yes, the night for romance tends to be proceeded with a night out on the town which generally begins at a swanky restaurant. And February tends to be one of the coldest months of the year, making exercise difficult - particularly outdoor exercise. Many individuals will forego a weight loss plan until after Valentine's Day. But with all those leftover chocolates hanging around - keeping true to a diet beginning on February 15th will be a challenge in itself. But take ....heart - no, not the heart filled with the divine chocolates. Soon springtime will appear making weight loss a bit easier. More time to enjoy the great outdoors, a lapse in holidays, and the warmer weather offers opportunity for light low calorie options such as tasty salads.
