Starbucks Nutrition: Iced Espresso Beverages

Starbucks Iced Espresso Beverages
The 16 ounce size has several available options for espresso lovers. The highest on the list is the White Chocolate Latte which contains a tab over 300 calories.
White chocolate is naturally high in calories - and when it's in a block, it contains quite a lot of fat. It's actually higher in fat content than both milk and dark chocolates.
Sixteen ounces is equal to two cups - so this is a nice size drink. The Caffe Mocha holds only 170 calories. The Vanilla Latte - my personal favorite on the list - contains a skinny 160 calories. That's less than any commercially sold cappuccino or latte mix that I've seen at our local grocery store. Most contain from 90 to 150 calories per serving - but keep in mind that's for a 6-8 ounce serving which is a paltry amount.
The Starbucks items are more than double in size.
Even if we add whipped cream, the Cinnamon Dolce Latte is only 310 calories. You'll have to allow for this treat when you're planning your meals. A lot of the time when I want to enjoy a treat such as a latte, I'll opt to enjoy a bowl of cereal for morning and evening meals.
