Diet Bites Best Daily Diet Journal for January 13 Weight Loss " And the weight loss race begins....." If you started your new diet on January 1st or 2nd, you have probably experienced a weight loss of 4 to 10 pounds. Why the big gap in pounds? The more weight that one has to lose, the faster the rate of weight loss. Yes - that's the good news. And yes, there is a downside. The closer that one gets to their 'recommended weight' the slower the rate of weight loss. If you've reached a point where your weight loss efforts have spiked and you appear to be going nowhere you may need to shake things up. Although a bowl of cold cereal for breakfast every morning may be low in calories, try shifting things a bit. Breakfast food challenges may help pull off the pounds but when it's all said and done - it comes down to calorie intake plus insuring that the calories that we consume contain the nutritional factors that our body requires. Although Cereal X may help lower bad cholesterol levels - Cereal X isn't set in stone when it comes to foods that have equal or advanced powers to accomplish the same. And the one thing that your weight loss plan doesn't have room for is Mr. Boredom. I'm a firm believer in making life as good as it can be - and food is a vital part of life.
