When preparing homemade cheeseburgers, opt for skim milk based cheeses and blot excess oil from meat before adding to bun.  Toast bun using no calorie butter spray or non stick butter spray.

Pregnant women should not diet without their doctor's approval.  The same applies to nursing moms.  

For a tasty, hearty meal that's great for rain or shine, spray a Kaiser roll (140 calories) with butter flavored non-stick cooking spray. Pop into the oven or toaster oven and cook until golden brown.

Next, allow to cool then with a sharp knife, cut out the very top of the roll and fill with your favorite soup.  We like fat-free cream of chicken soup.  The entire bowl contains about 200 calories.  What a Diet Deal!

Losing just a few pounds might be enough to allow you to get off of certain medications - such as those for blood pressure. Weight loss benefits most every disease - from heart to diabetes.

Spices add zero fat and zero calories to food.  Spices allow you to transform bland recipes into Diet Dynamite!

Rosemary Bread: Spray a slice of bread (60 calories or so) with non-stick, butter flavored cooking spray.  Spray it well!  Next, sprinkle on a bit of dried rosemary.  Pop into your toaster. Warm rosemary bread - buttery too, for only 60 calories.

All dieters lose weight at different rates.  Some may start out losing several pounds while others may even gain a few pounds.

Whatever be the case, stick with your diet plan.  If you continue to see a weight gain OR if the scales just aren't moving in the right direction, then you'll need to review your diet and identify the problem.

Recipe for Low Calorie Bread Pudding - A low calorie bread pudding may be helpful in satisfying that sweet tooth.  Take 2 slices of 55 calorie bread and sprinkle it with cinnamon and no calorie butter spray.

Next, add 1 cup of skim milk, a shot of vanilla extract and a few slices of your favorite fruit. Dust with brown sugar.  Pop into microwave for about 4 minutes. Contains about 225 calories.

If you find yourself picking up weight in mid-life, take a look at your activity level. If all is well, perhaps it's time for a hormone or testosterone check-up.

If you don't like the taste of diet beverages, try adding half diet and half 'regular'.

Be aware that 'the smell of food' is enough to set your tastebuds into action. Corn popping, cinnamon rolls baking and chicken frying are hard scents to resist.  Take five and think before you run to that goody.
