Stretch arms out to your side while flexing your hand. Imagine that you're trying to touch each end of the world with your fingertips. Next, work arms up and down and back and forth very slowly. If done excessively, you might just fly away!

Be certain to thoroughly wash fresh fruits and vegetables before eating to remove harmful bacteria (and loose sod) because no one likes a sick dieter.

Spices enhance bland foods, as do seasoned salts and peppers.  Try shaking a bit of lemon pepper on chicken breast, then roast, bake or grill. Or, substitute hot salt, seasoned salt or sea salt for regular salt for a different taste.  Spices can jazz up the most boring of diet plans.

Jerky is ultra low in calories and fat and packed with protein which helps rid the body of water weight gain. Go turkey jerky for less calories than beef jerky.

Substitute sugary icings with the following creamy spread:  1 box of sugar free, fat free vanilla pudding - prepared as directed on box using only 1/2 the amount of milk prescribed in recipe.  

Add 1/2 container of LIGHT or FAT FREE whipped topping.  Gently stir.  Spread on cooled cake.  Keep in fridge.

1 Tablespoon of cocoa powder mixed with a shot of water and Splenda helps soothe chocolate cravings for minimal calories.  A Tablespoon of powdered cocoa contains about 12-15 calories, depending upon the brand you use.

Sun tea is fun and diet-wise! Just be certain to time your tea so that it doesn't sit in the sun too long as salmonella can settle in. Chill and add a bit of fresh mint and lemon - and a few packets of no calorie sweetener.

Substitute beef canned chili with turkey chili.  Turkey chili lacks the fat and calorie content of other meat-based chilies but it doesn't lack taste.  An equally healthy option over turkey chili is vegetarian chili, rich in beans - a natural source of protein.
