Diet Shakes in the Diet Bites Weight Loss Program
The following diet shakes are very easy to prepare and are light
on the waist. Milk tends to encourage the body to relax,
and it's a healthy way to wind down the Diet Day. Enjoy your diet shake anytime after dinner, and even
as a bedtime snack if desired.
Be sure to use skim milk - or a milk that contains
about 80 calories per cup. In addition, be sure that
you are using only 1 cup (8 ounces) per shake because
calories do add up. Feel free to add no-calorie sweetener,
such as Splenda if more sweetness is desired. Simply
toss all the ingredients into a blender and blend until
thick and smooth - about 30 seconds or less. Add a bit
of crushed ice to the mix if you desire a thicker, colder
concoction.
Adding about 1/2 teaspoon of toasted wheat germ to
your shake will increase nutritional values for minimal
calories ( about 25 calories).
Keep in mind that a dieter can do a lot of things
with extracts - and there are so many flavors. Try checking
out your local cake shop for unique flavors such as
Marshmallow Extract, Butter Rum and so forth. Also experiment
with the diet shake recipes below, adding ground spices
