cream cheese
1 cup of fresh berries
Lunch - 1 protein, 1 dairy, 32 vegetables, 2 grains
Roast Beef Sandwich:
- 3 ounces of lean roast beef
- 1 slice of cheese (allowed 70 calories)
- raw spinach OR lettuce
- 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms
- Mustard
- tomato slices
- whole grain bread - 2 slices, 70 calories each
Assemble and enjoy with 1 low-fat yogurt (110 calories).
Also enjoy 1 small plate of assorted raw veggies
from the following choices: baby carrots, radishes,
cucumber, broccoli trees, mushrooms. Use yogurt as a
low fat, tasty dip.
Dinner - 2 grains, 2 proteins,
1 dairy
2 Hot Dogs
- 1 frank, cut lengthwise & heated (grilled,
pan-fried, broiled, etc. - allow 110 calories for frank)
- 2 hot dog buns (110 calories each)
- 1/2 cup of hot dog sauce
- 2 Tablespoons of grated cheese
- mustard, kraut and relish if desired
1/2 cup of baked beans (110 calories)
