If only we could lose weight as quickly as we pile it on - how much sweeter life would be!  

"Quick Weight Loss" is best when thought of from a dieter's perspective as "Effective Weight Loss".  

A Reduction Plan That Leads to Results

No matter if the dieter starves to lose weight, goes on a calorie counting diet, a carbohydrate restricted plan - and so forth, pounds can only come off at a rate in which the body can process such.

There will be peaks involved in any fat loss plan which are commonly referred to as the Weight Loss Plateau; this is the period where the body is busy processing all of those wonderful elements that you've invited into your new, healthier life. It's also a time where great patience and endurance is necessary.

A Giant Food Processor

Basically where diet is concerned, the body is like a big food processor. There are life-saving safety nets that have been smartly placed inside our bodies - such as the Plateau.

The body is delicately balanced. Due to these safety nets that keep our bodies balanced, it is impossible to drop massive amounts of unwanted weight overnight by diet alone.


How many pounds per week would be considered as Quick Weight Loss?  

On average, a dieter will lose from 2-3 pounds per week.

One week a dieter may lose 5 pounds, the next week 1 pound, the next week 0 pounds and the next week 6 big ones - but the average generally works out to be about 2 per week.  

That may not sound like a plethora of weight - but over the course of a year that works out to be over 100 pounds!

A lady who weighs over 200 pounds can be half her size if she sticks to her plan for that amount of time. That was my personal experience - and that's about the amount of time that it required for me to reach my recommended healthy size.

The key to quick weight loss is actually effective weight loss.

Staying on the diet plan and continuing to lose unwanted weight translates to quick fat loss.

If you are considering going on a diet, pick a plan that you will stick with through thick and thin because that choice will influence how quickly that you lose your unwanted weight.
