A white mustache is quickly becoming the symbol of thin - and rightly so. Milk is healthy, promotes strong bones, whiter teeth and the essential vitamins and nutrients that our bodies need to function efficiently. You've probably heard by now that studies prove that drinking twenty-four ounces of milk each and every day excels weight loss. Only nature would provide such a wonderful way to light the Weight Loss Path. Here are a few of my favorite suggestions for making that glass of milk a bit more interesting - all things that I have learned and created over the years. Keep in mind that your choice of milk should be skim or low fat. Invest in a frother; they are very cheap. I have one that I snagged for $2.98. Basically, a frother volumnizes skim milk to create a thick milkshake. Whirl skim or low fat milk, frozen fruit and extracts in your blender. A good combo: 1/3 of a frozen banana, 2 small ice cubes, 1 cup of ice cold skim milk, a dash of cinnamon and a dash of rum extract. Froth skim or low fat milk and add to your cup of low calorie hot cocoa for a yummy treat. Want some eggnog? This is pretty close: 1 cup of skim milk, 2 small ice cubes, dash of real vanilla extract, dash of rum extract, dash of nutmeg; whirl in your blender. I hear sleigh bells for some reason.... And this low fat recipe for egg nog is eons skinnier than the full blown real deal:
