LOOKING GOOD - FEELING GREAT If you've watched SNL reruns, you've probably seen the old Billy Crystal skit where he says, "Darling, I look marvelous and it's more important to look marvelous than to feel marvelous!" Looking good makes you feel great! Try it the next time that you're feeling down about yourself. It's just about the best picker-upper for the blues.
There's a lot to the, 'Dress for success,' saying but it goes a step further. When you look smashing, it empowers your self-esteem. And when you're feeling great about yourself, you'll be a lot more likely to resist that evil goody at the party, or other fun event, than if you were dressed like a slouch. Of course, sometimes it's fun to be a slouch! |
