Rhode Island Diet Menu

Rhode Island - The Ocean State, The Plantation State, The Little Rhody State.  

Saluting the great flavors of Rhode Island with our free diet menu.

Free Rhode Island Diet Menu - Total Calories 450

Rhode Island Wraps - Wrap the following in a flour shell (120 calories) 2 slices of cooked bacon - crumbled (80 calories) and 1/2 of a small potato that has been cooked in the microwave until done.  

You can use the skin if you'd like.  Sprinkle on 1 ounce of finely grated mozzarella cheese (70 calories).  Roll and heat in microwave until cheese melts.  

Serve with 1 Tablespoonof light sour cream.  About 390 calories.

Side Salad - 2 cups of the Following Mix - Field greens, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes. Serve with Ken's Walnut Raspberry Dressing OR your favorite low calorie dressing. Serves 2 for about 50 calories each.

Dessert - Enjoy sugar free gelatin for about 10 calories per serving.

South Carolina  Diet Menu

South Carolina - The Palmetto State.   Scents and dishes of the sea come to mind when we created our salute to South Carolina.   Here's to sandy beaches, grass skirts and imitation rum.

Free South Carolina Diet Menu - Total Calories 425

Grilled Sea Bass - Wrap clean, gutted sea bass in aluminum foil.  

Before sealing, sprinkle the following on sea bass: juice of one fresh lemon, salt, lemon pepper. Bake in oven (or grill on grill) at 350 degrees until flaky.

Enjoy 3 ounces for about 100 calories.

Big Ice Slaw - Shred wedge of cabbage and 1 carrot.   Add dash of celery seed, salt and pepper.   Add 1 Tablespoon of milk and 1 Teaspoon of golden raisins (optional).   Add Splenda to meet personal preference. Makes 2 servings for about 50 calories each.

Enjoy 'anything bread' - from cornbread to buttermilk biscuits up to 100 calories.

Enjoy 1 small side salad consisting of the following with 1 Tablespoon of light dressing (40 calories) on the side: lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, sliced onion.   About 75 calories, including dressing.

Dessert - Pirate Pineapple Rum Smoothie - Enjoy a pineapple smoothie for about 100 calories.   Take 1 cup of skim milk, 1 ice cube OR 1 Tablespoon of crushed ice, 1 Tablespoon of fresh, frozen or canned pineapple, Splenda, 1 teaspoon of imitation rum extract and whirl in a blender.

South Dakota Diet Menu

South Dakota - The Mount Rushmore State, The Coyote State.  

We're cooking something up that's warm and hearty as we salute the great state of South Dakota with a free diet menu.

Free South Dakota Diet Menu - Total Calories 435

Dakota Chili - 1/2 pound of the leanest ground beef you can lay your gloved hands on.  Add to a non-stick pot that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.  

As beef browns, add the following: 1/2 cup of chopped onions, 1/4 cup of chopped bell peppers, salt and pepper.  Use any color onions and pepper that you like.

Once beef has browned, add 1 can of drained dark kidney beans, 1 can of diced tomatoes and chili powder to suit your personal taste.  About 200 calories per cup.

Enjoy chili with 10 saltine crackers, 1 slice of cheese (70 calories), fresh chopped onions and chili sauce if desired (2 Tablespoons).  About 200 calories for all these fixins.

Dessert - Enjoy sugar free gelatin for about 10 calories per serving plus 2 Tablespoons of light whipped topping. About 35 calories.
