Ballet is Excellent for Balance

This activity is one that can greatly benefit people of all ages - and frankly, it can be a lot of fun.

Professional sport's players have even enrolled in ballet classes in order to improve their coordination and balance.

Seniors also find health benefits as ballet can improve balance, something that many of us take for granted but a condition that is responsible for many accidents involving our golden citizens.

I've always been intrigued by the beautiful images and artwork encompassing ballet dancers and the costumes that they wear when performing. Most are quite beautiful.

Fantastic for the Human Figure

Ballet dancing is also fantastic for trimming off excess pounds as well as in shaping or sculpturing the body, defining the muscles in the legs - both upper and lower as well as adding strength to the neck and shoulder areas.
