Needs Averaged for Woman - Small Frame
The following weight chart displays the caloric needs for a small-framed woman based on height and activity level. Keep in mind that charts are intended to be utilized as a pattern for setting weight goals and that what you weigh should never be set in stone.
Example:
The Daily Calorie Needs for a woman with a small
frame who is 5'5" tall and leads a Moderate Lifestyle
needs an average calorie intake of about 1,853. If the woman is active she requires 2,100 calories per day for her maximum caloric needs.
Now here is where the issues with weight charts fall into place. Let's call our lady - Betty. The number of calories necessary to support Betty's weight will increase based on her food intake as well as her activity level. If Betty is doing laundry, shopping and dusting - she will burn fewer calories than if she were hiking or rowing a boat.
This is the pivoting point where weight in concerned. This is why it's so difficult to tell Dieter A that if they do this and that, then they will weigh exactly this. Even the foods that we eat are difficult for caloric definition. While one Tropical pineapple contains x-amount of calories, another pineapple grown in another area of the world will contain another. Even fruit as simple as apples contain different caloric values based on location grown, species and size of specimen.
