Needs Averaged for Woman - Medium Frame
If you have a medium frame, the Daily Calorie Needs chart below can assist in keeping your weight loss plan in check. Note that the chart is based on height and then activity level. So how many calories do you need per day in order to maintain your current weight? Let's see....
Example:
The Daily Calorie Needs for a woman (let's call her Ramona) with a medium
frame who is 5'5" tall and leads a Moderate Lifestyle
needs an average calorie intake of about 2,010. If Ramona is exceptionally active, then of course - she'll require even more calories. Even if she falls ill and is bedfast, her body will require more calories that the 'inactive' level because our bodies use energy to fight illness.
Therefore, as we can see - weight is a balancing act. While we can use charts to assist us in meeting our weight loss goals and for maintaining our current weight, the body is forever balancing caloric values - processing them, storing them, using them.
