on the Run
Dieter
Mary is up at the crack of dawn, racing
to get her four children dressed for school
before she heads off to a long day of work.
It promises to be a very busy day
- but with Dieter Mary, all the days she
spends at work are busy days.
To
best-manage her time, Mary feeds the kids
at the local fast food restaurant, ordering
an egg and cheese biscuit for herself.
By the time that lunch arrives, she is famished,
but too busy to pause from her project.
She asks her assistant to pick up
a cheeseburger for her in the workplace
cafe.
When
dinner rolls around, Dieter Mary again
stops by a fast food restaurant to collect
dinner. By the time that bedtime nears,
Mary has eaten the following:
- egg
& cheese biscuit
- cheeseburger
and fries
- slice
of co-worker's birthday cake
- 1
candy bar
- 1
pack of crackers
- 2
chicken breasts
- 1
serving of mashed potatoes
- 1
serving of baked beans
- 1
roll
- 10
cups of highly sugared coffee
Dieter
Mary is a very smart lady; she pushes out
impressive projects back-to-back. She
is a gifted artist, a very loving mother,
a wonderful wife and a horrendous dieter.
What does Mary need to do in order
to set the scales right?
Mary
needs to SLOW DOWN and make better diet
choices. With everything else in her
life - from career to motherhood, Mary is
an excellent decision maker, but when it
comes to food choices, she doesn't even
know where to begin. Mary would do
well to schedule a visit with a nutritionist.
The added perk: Mary's family would
also benefit from a healthier diet.
One
last diet note: Mary needs to rediscover
dining room and kitchen tables and move
her meals from her desk and her car to there.
Mary also needs to use her own two
legs to collect her lunch rather than using
her assistant's!
