Apple Seedless Bread Pudding - Low Calorie,
Low Fat Diet Recipe

lovely, so apple-ee delicious that you'll
wonder if Johnny Appleseed himself didn't
produce this perfect seedless bread pudding.
It's so good, you'll also wonder if it is
indeed a diet friendly recipe that is low
in calories and low in fat. You can bet
your sweet bippie that it is! Here's
our 'drop-dead
gorgeous, diet friendly, bread pudding recipe. Be sure to
share with a friend or a cranky boss.
Ingredients
for Johnny Apple Seedless Bread Pudding
- 2
Tablespoons of no calorie butter
spray
- 2
cups of chopped apples (be sure
to discard the core)
- 3
cups of day-old bread, cubed
- 1/4
cup of golden raisins (use brown
raisins if you desire more color
to your bread pudding)
- 4
egg whites and 2 egg yolks OR 1
carton of egg substitute
- 2
cups of skimmed milk OR 2 cups of
Soy Milk, Vanilla Flavored
- 1
Teaspoon of REAL vanilla
- 1
cup of Splenda
- 1
Teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
In
non-stick sauce pan, warm the no calorie
butter. Stir in apples. Cook
with lid on the pan using medium heat until
apples are soft. Add a bit of water
or more no calorie butter spray if necessary.
Remove
from heat and add bread cubes and raisins.
Mix
together spice and Splenda. Add eggs,
milk, vanilla slowly and stir to incorporate.
Pour over apple mixture. Cover.
Refrigerate overnight.
In
a preheated 350 degree oven, bake for about
45 minutes. Enjoy hot or cold.
Entire
recipe contains about 750 calories.
