Once we get to the movies, the smell of hot buttered popcorn adds five pounds to our body - and we just smelled the stuff; think about what the result will be once we munch-through that great big bucket - one that has extra butter added.
On that note, besides eating to much let's see what other factors or elements in our daily schedule can assist in unwanted weight gain. To better determine the origin of your over weight problem, ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I feeling blue because I am over weight? In this event, the individual may be seeking comfort and security in the form of food and drink as they both serve as 'security blankets'. Unfortunately, they also serve to create layers of unwanted fat when too much is input into our body.

With this said - with the right foods and with limited foods in the daily diet, the body will naturally lose weight. Of course, the stranded island people were not enjoying the healthiest of diets - and it was lacking in certain food groups such as grain and dairy.
