Hair, It's More Detailed Than One Might Think

Who doesn't want long, luxurious hair - or even a short stunning crop of hair?

Well, there are exceptions to the rule as baldness is 'in' these days - and looks quite fitting for those who chose that look.

But if you're into the luxurious scene, the health of the hair is key.

When we lose a strand we often view it as a hair - at times with a bulb of milky looking substance at the end - commonly referred to as the root.

But when we look into the real root of the hair follicle - we find that it's quite detailed.

Genes, Health, Home Potions, Remedies for Damaged Hair

While the genes we were given at conception play the biggest role in the overall thickness - as well as the color and diameter of hair, we can improve upon any negatives by boosting the health of that desired silky mane. Many over the counter products can assist, but there are also old-fashioned tried and true natural potions.

I went through a trying time about twenty years ago when I lost more than half of my body weight - and have thankfully kept it off. My hair came out by the handful. I once had the thickest mane imaginable - but nevermore, even unto this day. I'm thin, but so is my head covering. Nonetheless, after the diet ended I was left with a brittle fried-looking mass. I tried every product that I could afford at the market to bring it back to life - and nothing except a tube of VO5 worked - and it worked quite well. I would highly recommend this product based on personal experience.

Natural Remedies for Damaged Hair

1. A whisked egg adds protein and strength to hair. Take note however that it's difficult to wash out completely.

2. Oats also can add strength, but like the egg they are messy.

3. Lemon juice can assist in lightening that golden or light brown mass.

4. Distilled white vinegar will create the opposite effect by darkening.

5. For gray hair, adding blueing can create a dynamic appearance.
