Magic Bullet Diet Beverage Tips
Written by Sky Taylor, Diet Bites
We have some savvy tips for beverages in your diet plan to assist in keeping on track with weight loss results.
To prepare beverages in the Magic Bullet you'll want to start with a delicious base. Our two favorite bases for skinny beverages are natural fruit juice and milk. Both blend excellently and both can handle the addition of fruit and extracts very well.
We've got some Magic Bullet recipes below that we hope will enhance your weight loss program.
Juice Base Beverages: We recommend using natural or unsweetened fruit juices. At times however, you may need to add additional sweetness as different juices may be less sweet than you prefer. And of course, using sugar substitute can save calories and is generally the choice among dieters.
Try the following fruit based recipes in your Magic Bullet.
All are very low in caloric and fat content:
- One cup of pineapple juice, crushed pineapple and a dash of rum extract. Blend together for about 2 seconds.
- One cup of cranberry juice cocktail, 1/2 cup of frozen sliced strawberries and a dash of vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
This great kitchen tool also works well for dicing fruit to put into a large punchbowl. Might we suggest the following:
- Place one block of pineapple sherbet into a large punchbowl. Trim a sweet fresh pineapple, cutting the flesh into chunks before adding it to your Magic Bullet. It will only take a couple of seconds to cut the chunks into small bits. Using fresh sweet pineapple is so much more tastier than using canned pineapple - but if you can't get a real pineapple, then by all means use canned. Frozen will also work well as long as its tiny so that guests don't choke on the larger bits.
Add diet lemon-lime soda just before serving to the punchbowl. This makes a stunning presentation at parties and because it contains minimal calories it's a punch that almost everyone can enjoy freely.
Milk Base Beverages: The great thing about the Magic Bullet is that it volumnizes milk so that you feel like you're getting more, for less calories. We recommend that the milk be ice cold. Use a few chips of small ice if you'd like your milk concoction thick.
The colder the milk, the thicker the beverage.
Mix & Whirl the Following - Cook in microwave with vented lid if you would like to enjoy your beverage hot.
